What makes Sabai Design different?
Sustainability is more than a decorative selling point here. Sabai uses materials such as FSC-certified wood, recycled upholstery, and PFAS-free fabrics in selected collections. Replacement cushions, covers, and other components allow customers to extend their furniture's useful life.
The Essential Collection offers clean lines and firmer seating suited to smaller rooms, while Elevate delivers deeper cushions and a more relaxed lounge experience. For shoppers seeking natural materials, the Elevate Natural range avoids synthetic foam.
Are Sabai sofas comfortable and worth the price?
Comfort depends heavily on the collection. Architectural Digest praised the Essential sectional's construction, practical dimensions, and straightforward assembly. However, its relatively low back may disappoint people wanting substantial neck support.
Pricing also deserves consideration. The Essential Sofa currently starts around $1,745, while larger and more luxurious configurations cost significantly more. These are considered purchases rather than budget furniture.
What about delivery and customer service?
This Sabai Design review finds a brand with thoughtful furniture and a convincing approach to reducing waste. But the ownership experience isn't universally smooth.
Some buyers praise the styling and replaceable components, while others describe extended delivery delays, firm cushions, and frustrating customer communication. Sabai also offers a limited one-year warranty, so understanding its terms matters.
Should you buy from Sabai Design?
Sabai is worth considering if you appreciate modern aesthetics, repairable furniture, and responsibly sourced materials. Order fabric swatches, measure your room, and compare seating dimensions before committing. If plush comfort, immediate delivery, or a lengthy warranty is your priority, exploring alternatives first would be sensible.
